Located in Tring Hertfordshire, just 40 minutes from central London, this 1 day interactive and fun Adventure and Outdoor First Aid Course aims to equip you with the introductory safety knowledge you may need to confidently deal with the key scenarios encountered whilst on day walks, trekking or adventure travel.

This course is a unique and practical day full of fun and interesting scenarios where you can become familiar with your own safety kit. Throughout our hike we stop to address and practice certain topics so you can have a fun, low pressure approach at the safety scenarios.

Topics to Include:

• Adapting your first aid kit to your adventure

• Sprains & breaks - How to deal with and safely move casualty

• Deep cuts and bleeding

• Hyperthermia and heat exhaustion

• Group Shelter Insight and demo

• Using your personal equipment to aid injured

• How to situations when comms/signal are limited

Meet & Finish Point: Outside Tring Station Main Entrance Here

Start and Finish Time: 10am to 4:00pm

Distance: 7.9 miles (13km)

Walking Difficulty level: Intermediate - Walk will be paced at 5km per hour

What do i need to bring: First Aid kit, lunch, snacks, water and suitable outdoor clothing and hiking shoes/boots for forest conditions.
