Join us on a 10 mile guided nature walk into the heart and through the historic woodlands of Epping Forest near London. Starting at Loughton Station our route takes up into the vast beech woodlands on small trails that contour along streams up into quiet patches of woodland and into fertile woodland valleys. This is a unique walk that takes in some of the most beautiful terrain within this 6000 acre forest and home to 55,000 ancient trees. During this walk we’ll learn about certain tree species that can help us navigate, which plants can help us find water and which trees are used by native people the world over. This is a bespoke route to Walk Wild and will not be found elsewhere.
