Map and Compass Skills Training

  • Berkhamstead Train Station United Kingdom (map)

Walk Wilds most popular guided navigation group workshop will take the art of navigation and bring it back to basics, doing away with the daunting amounts of info. We’ll cover signs and map symbols, contours, where we can and cant walk, navigation tips and tricks, how to not get lost and how to take a compass bearing and using it during your route. We’ll also be testing the skills live as we navigate together around the rolling Hertfordshire landscapes of Ashridge on a specifically planned route.
